"We Have This Treasure"

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. (2 Corinthians 4:-7)

God could have proclaimed His truth through sinless angels, but this is not His plan. He chooses to use human beings, imperfect men, men who are prone to sin but who have committed their lives to be used,  as instruments in the working out of His designs. The priceless treasure is placed in earthen vessels. Through men His blessings are to be conveyed to the world. Through them God intend to shine His glory forth into a world of darkness. "

For it is God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, He it is hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. It does not matter what you are, once you turn to God, He will turn to you and renew your life; he will make you a thing of value, because you are precious to him, hence why he died for you. Sometimes we think that God is not interested in us because we have done terrible things and therefore we are unworthy. God is a potter, it doesn't matter how marred that pottery is, He can make it again. Never think that God has no use for you. God cares more for you than you can ever care for yourself. So even though troubles come; O yes and they will come; for the apostle Paul tells us. "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 2 Corinthians 4:6-8. He was able to make this statement because he recognize his sinful state, he remembers how he used to be, and he has seen the mighty hand of God's forgiveness, protection, and love hence he has authority to tell us we too can trust God.

"Christ took upon Himself humanity, that He might reach humanity. It was because of his Love for us that the father sent his Only begotten son, that whosoever believe on him should not perish but have everlasting life. Know and understand that the most precious thing in this world is you? The position of the human race after man divorced himself from God by sin was gloomy, hopeless; the reason why man was not annihilated was because God so loved him that He made the gift of His dear Son, that He should suffer the penalty for  our transgression."

Friends you are precious, to God you are a treasure, let no one tell you otherwise. Christ said you are worth more than a sparrow. in short you are priceless, you have been redeemed by the precious blood of Christ Jesus. Today is salvation come to your house, what will you do with the Savior? Will you accept Him?  Will you give him your heart? He loves you, give Him your heart and he will give you His fathers Kingdom.
