The Book Of Books

 Bible
"The Bible has perennial approach and appeal because it possesses certain qualities of permanence in greater degree than any other literature does. God is the Theme. It is the timeless book, evermore " up-to-date " and " down-to-the-minute," because it grapples with the theme which is not only the greatest of all themes, but which is also in itself timeless, an eternal subject, with eternal interest—God. Other books too deal with God, his existence, the problems of his character and action, but what other can be named which is so centred upon the thought of God, is so filled with the consciousness of him, it soars into the heights of his presence and brings back such glorious results to the mind and spirit of man, as this book?"

Prayer: As He prayed

We do not need to worry about the future for our heavenly father know all that we need and has made provision to supply these needs. As he prayed for us, believe that He cares for you and wants to save you.

Sin: What is It?

The Bible tells of a beautiful angel whose name was Lucifer, the meaning of this name is "son of the morning." We were told that He had great power as well as beauty. In the book of Ezekiel we read of the downfall of Lucifer. Ezekiel 28:14-15 "Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou was perfect in all thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee." The bible states that sin is the transgression of the law. So  here we have the first record of one of God's creation being found with iniquity.

God's Audible Voice

The Bible is the voice of God speaking to us.The Bible is the word of God written under the inspiration of God. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God. 2 Timothy 3:16. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" 2 Peter 1:21. It is no wonder that our Lord has place His Word above His Name. "I will worship toward Thy Holy temple, and praise Thy name for Thy loving-kindness and for Thy truth: for Thou hast magnified thy word above Thy name." Psalm 138:2.

Where Can I Find God?

The question is asked of many; can God be found? Where is God? Where is His dwelling place? and often many become frustrated when the answers they seek are not forth-coming.

Today God seeks to meet with you to show you his mystery and his treasury of wonderful gifts.  He is doing so in order that He might gain access to your heart. So allow Him to touch your heart today through His words. One of the most effective means God uses to reach us is through His words. The promises of the Lord can be trusted; they are as genuine as silver refined seven times in the furnace. The wicked are everywhere, and everyone praises what is evil. Keep us always safe, O Lord, and preserve us from such people. Psalm12:6,7,8; Proverbs 30:5; This enable Him to make an impression on our heart. There are many ways one can find God; Deuteronomy 29:29; 2Timothy 3;16-17 God can be found in creation, as you study the various aspect of all things both animate and inanimate we find the existence of a Creator.

Word Above Name

The Scriptures
The Bible is one of the ways in which God communicate with us, it is the voice of God speaking to us. The Bible is the word of God written under the inspiration of God. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God. 2 Timothy 3:16. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" 2 Peter 1:21. Asking To Give

"This is life eternal," Christ said, "that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent." John 17:3. Christ will teach us how to give. When we realize the value of this knowledge we will be wonderfully blessed, life with all its sorrow will fade as we treasure these precious truth. We will give everything to Christ, our heart, soul and mind. These glorious truths will cause our hearts to glow giving us hope amidst sorrow, pervading our whole being?

The Three Watch Words

There are three watchwords that we must strive for, especially if it is our desire to see our Lord when He comes; which must be heeded if we would not have Satan steal a march upon us; namely, Watch, Pray, Work. "My meat is to do the will of Him who sent me, and to finish His work." (John 4:34)

Kingdom Subjects

Family
The character of the Christian is demonstrated by his daily life. “Every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit” (Matt7:7) with Christ as the vine, and we the branches we are more than conquerors. Let us make this our life work to surrender all to Him  so that we become victorious subjects of Christ.

We must ourselves practice that which we would enforce upon others if we desire to be of any influence to those who are seeking for truth. Words, however good, will be powerless if contradicted by our daily life.

Where Are You?

There are two ways--the broad road of self-indulgence and the narrow path of self-sacrifice. On the broad road you can find selfishness and the love of the world; there is also a narrow way and all who walk that way must cease to do wrong and strive for excellence. Which road have you chosen--the road which leads to everlasting death, or the road which leads to glory and immortality?

God Knows Our Thoughts

Girl
The children of Israel found themselves in captivity for seventy years, and throughout the years as they look for deliverance it seem it would never come but the Lord had promised His children that he would deliver them and he did. Often many people ask the question; how can a loving God allow affliction to come upon his children?
